mtb
only.

I’m Andri. I was a rider first. Then, around 20 years ago, I hung up my career to become a mechanic for high-end bikes. I ride MTB all year round in the Zurich region and anywhere else in the world. Since 2011 I have been repairing and tuning mountain bikes in Zurich, and nothing else.

Suspension service in Zurich

01

Fork service

I strip your fork right here in the shop. Fox, RockShox, Öhlins, Cane Creek, DVO.

What’s included

Small fork service (lower leg service): I take off the lowers, clean the stanchions and bushings, and replace the dust seals and the oil.

Full fork service: On top of that, the air spring and the damper cartridge are stripped, resealed and filled with fresh oil.

When: Seals and oil should be changed every year, even if you don’t ride that hard. Can you see fine lines on the stanchion? Those are scratches from dirt under the seals. After a hard season there is often a real plug of grease and dirt on the air side too, and the fork works noticeably worse.

Prices without removal and refitting and without parts.

02

Shock service

Air and coil shocks, stripped in the shop, nothing sent away.

What’s included

Small shock service (air can service): I open the air can, clean it and replace the seals and the grease.

Full shock service: The shock is stripped completely and gets fresh oil and new seals.

When: Once a year, even if you don’t ride that hard. If there is already a lot of dirt under the cover, wear on the inside can’t be avoided. Even expensive parts lose a lot of performance in the first year.

Prices without removal and refitting and without parts.

Service book.
You ride, it tells you when the service is due.

You register your bike and log the ride time or let it be estimated. Then you see when fork, shock or chain are due. Whatever I do on your bike goes into the service book. If you sell it, the buyer sees what was done.

  • Traffic light per part, a reminder before it gets expensive
  • Service record as PDF or link for your listing
  • Care: priority in peak season, automatic from CHF 200 spent per year
